Le Gîte des Violettes
This beautiful large French holiday home boasts five bedrooms and has been redecorated to a high standard. Each room has its unique character and charm. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Just a short walk from the charming village of Ger les Violettes sits in a small hamlet. Ger boasts a boulangerie for your morning baguette and croissant. A village shop for your essentials and a bar for a fun night out. . It is a quick drive to larger villages and towns: Barenton, Mortain, Sourdeval, Vire, Flers, and the medieval Domfront are all worth a visit. There is a cycle/walking path that goes from Domfront through Barenton right the way to Mont St Michel!
Right on the edge of a national park the walking and cycling is beautiful around our holiday cottage. Suisse Normandie is a short drive away, with stunning views, and lots of outdoor/water activities. Fosse Arthour is an easy 10 minute drive and well, well worth a visit. There's also a nice restaurant there we recommend.
Mont St Michel (a must see) is less than an hour away, Bayeux and the WWII beaches are just over an hour away. Most of the Normandie ferry ports are about an hour, Calais is about 4 hours.
Use our coffee machine, kettle, toaster, oven, fridge freezer, air fryer, washing machine, tumble dryer, utensils, cutlery, crockery, Smart TV (own log ins required), DVD player, log burner, garden furniture, parking, and charcoal BBQ. Also Linen and Towels are included- as well as some dark coloured towels for dogs paws!
