We’re a close-knit family made up of Pat, Ellie, and our wonderful daughters, Izzy and Lula, who bring joy and energy to every day. Our furry companions—Bilbo and Dolly—are always by our side, whether we’re exploring the beautiful countryside, relaxing in the garden, or curled up indoors. Together, we’ve created countless cherished memories at Le Gîte des Violettes, and we’re excited to share this special place with you.
About Us
We’re a family who fell in love with the charm and beauty of rural France, and Le Gîte des Violettes has become our little slice of paradise. From the moment we first saw the farmhouse, we knew it was special. It has since become our home away from home—a place where we can recharge, reconnect, and create incredible memories.
Whenever we’re here, life slows down just enough to savor the simple joys. Whether it’s starting the day with fresh croissants from the village boulangerie, walking our dogs along peaceful trails, or gathering with loved ones around the grand dining table, this home has a way of making every moment feel magical.
When we’re not exploring the nearby forests, cycling paths, or historic landmarks, we’re busy with our work as trainers or tackling life’s everyday adventures like helping teenagers with their (sometimes baffling!) maths homework. But no matter what, we always find time to dream up new plans for our next adventure here in Ger.
